Artist

Sam is a self-taught artist from the Netherlands.  She mainly draws mandalas and very detailed patterns with fineliners size 003 to 05.  She started doing this back when she was 15 and over the years her art started getting more intricate.

She also customises garments and surf- and skateboards with posca markers and fabric paints.   She also writes poetry and make mixed-media artworks in an art journal which helps her cope with the adversities she gets to face in life and is her favourite way to express herself.

Sam has always been very interested in the issues our world is facing and what we, as individuals, can do to help our environment  get into a better place again. She loves nature and it’s one of her biggest inspirations when drawing, in most of her drawings you can find gorgeous flowers, butterflies or elements of the sea.  She thinks it’s very painful to see all of those beautiful things disappearing and hope we can change something about this together.
