Jhoseth Silva is a Colombian artist living in Switzerland.
The Colombian context inspired his work during his travels throughout the country.
He has spent time both in the countryside and on the streets of Cali. Above all, it is his contact with the vulnerable population of this city that has provided him with the necessary insight to create social projects, such as art workshops for children and young people.
His work, which is linked to his social engagement, evolves through constant disruption and deconstruction, finding in drawing, painting, and performance art a way to express himself.
He is an artist who expresses in his work dehumanization, but also resilience, hope, and the reinterpretation of the human being, making use of research, memory, and questioning.
