Rosie is an artist and writer based in Norfolk. She studied Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts, where she was awarded the Vernon Crowther Prize for her degree show. Her exhibition featured a series of works reflecting on her relationship with the landscape of her childhood, on Dartmoor. Rosie is now a creative facilitator working at the intersection between art and ecology.
Through motifs of the everyday and inspired by the natural world, her works hold narratives of belonging, interconnection, and embodiment. Her practice explores and celebrates the intrinsic connection we all share with our environment, meditating on the coalescence between human beings, and everything else. Working primarily with print, paint, and ink, Rosie draws from folklore and ancient iconography to create a visual dialogue that connects to both her personal life and a broader cultural heritage.
